Spy Photos of the 2024 BYD Qin PLUS Revealed
The new BYD Qin PLUS stands out with subtle adjustments in its exterior design. While it looks similar to the existing model overall, the headlights and front grille have been redesigned. Although the side profile remains largely unchanged, the wheel design exhibits some differences.
At the rear, it is anticipated that the “BYD” logo will be replaced with the “BUILD YOUR DREAM” inscription. Inside, the new Qin PLUS bears a strong resemblance to the current model, but with some key updates. It features a floating central screen and a digital instrument panel.
The horizontal lines on the center console are more pronounced, and the climate vents and phone storage area have been redesigned. Additionally, the crystal gear knob and multifunction button layout have been revised. Significant updates are also expected in the power unit of the new BYD Qin PLUS.
Equipped with DM 5.0 technology, this model will offer versions with 80 km and 120 km pure electric ranges. It will also come with a 1.5L atmospheric engine producing 74 kW of maximum power and 126 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is expected to have the world’s highest thermal efficiency at 46.06% and will be notable for its fuel consumption of just 2.9L per 100 km. It will offer a total range of 2100 km.
